ShapeMyPrompt is designed so that we do not collect, store, sell, or share any user data.
When you click the enhance (or refine) button, the text you typed is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our server solely to generate an improved prompt, and the result is sent back to you.
We do not store your text. Our server is stateless: it does not save, log, or retain your prompts, your IP address, or any identifier. The extension and web app have no sign-up, no analytics, no cookies, and no advertising or tracking code.
When you tap "Refine" on a generated prompt, your previous attempt is sent back along with your new request, purely so the AI can produce a genuinely different rewrite. It is never saved on our server — it is only used for that one request.
Only your output-language preference (English / My language), saved locally in your own browser. It never reaches us.
To generate prompts, your text is processed in transit by Cloudflare Workers (server infrastructure) and a third-party AI inference provider we use to run the language model. We send them only the text needed to generate your prompt — no name, email, or account information (we never have any).
None. We retain nothing.
ShapeMyPrompt does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
